I'm torn between two answers. Should I be honest or just tell the plain truth? If you were in my shoes. What would you tell a friend who would often ask you "Does this outfit make me look fat?" In my case, I would always say yes which is usually ( but not always ) the truth. I just don't wana hurt her feelings. Would you care for some bluntness?

Posting has been light around here because I am enjoying my summer and at the same time preparing myself for the upcoming board exam review in CPAR Manila.

For  an aspiring CPA ,  months from now is the time when stress levels hit the roof.  I am conditioning myself physically, mentally and emotionally, I think this aspect of preparing is crucially important and rarely treated with the seriousness it deserves. I need to start scanning my books . I need to recall  everything ..Waah. Panic is the word. I can't review my lessons from first year to fifth year in a month. Lots of things went crashing into my head. I need to study but I have so little time.  It's something I should be very very serious about. I WILL PASS THE  CPA BOARD EXAMS.   So Bye bye for now! 

How would you feel if you've been given a grade 3 in a six units subject,  when you deserve a better grade?? It seriously pulled down my CGPA. I have good grounds to believe that my professor graded me unfairly, out of mistake. My classmates who have grades lower than me, got a grade of 2 :( I have nothing against my professor coz I know  humans are subject to error.  I appealed my grade to my professor, and she eventually realized her mistake. But she said the grades are already locked. She could no longer change mine. How sad. Moving on with a heavy heart :)

I lost my DSL connection last week so I borrowed my father's Globe tattoo sonic  which Globe has recently launched along with tattoo 4G flash. In hopes of achieving the promised  speed of of 7.2 Mbps (DL) when connected to the HSPA+ network, I tried this one for 5 consecutive days using the free 120 surfing hours. The first couple of days of using this, I typically achieve an average speed of 36kb.  The connection was soooooo slow and extremely unreliable. I tried different settings to get it to work, to no avail it was a total crap that I had to throw it away. Globe shouldn't market and sell this broadband in areas where they know it won't work. It's absolutely atrocious.  So frustrating.  I have nothing positive to say about Tattoo Sonic. :( Globe if you are reading this, I am truly disappointed with the Tattoo Sonic :( Just a waste of money and time.

Howdy. I apologize for not being able to update my blog for months. I have been really busy with school lately and I have a Feasibility Study to catch up on, and with the exams just around the corner and class reports here and there I haven't had too much time to blog.  

So today, I am going to share my latest fab for the month of January :D My 13 inch Pink Cambridge Satchel bag. :D Apparently, this is a knock off fofthe outrageously expensive Cambridge Bags which are prized at P 10,000 +  I am not really a bag person but when I saw this one online, I instantly fell in love with it that I had to ask my cousin to send me a locally made one.  :D  It features an extended front pocket and  long strap,  and it comes in a very cute pink shade :D I was able to put all my school stuff in it that includes my thick Applied Auditing Book by Cabrera, wallet, pouch, pencil case, my qwerty nokia phone, my eyeglasses, two notebooks.  Perfect bag for my school stuff! Who would say not to this locally made satchel ?



To welcome the New Year, i just had my hair cut  :D

So I bought myself an en expensive umbrella only to be lost after a week of using it. Grrrr.  At Php 400,  this umbrella is not of course the most expensive umbrella in the world but unfortunately it's a bit expensive already by my standards.  I cried my heart out when I realize I lost it in a fastfood chain. Not because of the expensive umbrella alone but more because of the fact that I did it again!! I cant count anymore the number of umbrellas I have lost in my life. It's so disappointing to know it happens all the time. I felt bad and was on a foul mood for two days.  I swear to myself that I will never spend so much money on an umbrella again just to be sure I don't lose one again . Umbrellas are made to be lost.

Last month, I got my google adsense PIN :D ayt.  It arrived in the mail when I least expect it. I have waited impatiently for a month  and tadah!..Apparently, Google sends this out  in the regular mail when your account reaches $10, and mine reached that amount after four months my application got approved. waaah.  I wonder when would be my first cash out.  Me and the postcard. Look! Can't you see ? it's posted through air mail :D straight from Mountain View, CA :D  My real name isn't maishee :P What's my real name? Try to make out what's the name written  on the mail :P

No words can describe the happiness I am feeling right now. I can already see myself dressed in our long red lobes walking the stage to receive my college diploma!  Finally, this is it! But on the other side of my self  I feel sad  because I will be leaving my dear Alma Mater, Mindanao State University -Iligan Insititute of Technology. I have lots of memories in this university that will remain in me forever. Morever, I and my classmates will be parting ways :( Deep in my heart , I know that I will miss the friendship and bonding we have made throughout the years! Today, I feel happier than sad. Haha. My efforts and struggles for the past five years in BS Accountancy really paid off! I am more thankful that I was among the 54 students who'll make it this April out of the 120 + BS Accountancy students five years ago. This thought flashed  me vividly back to my first day in college. What a day that was for me , a frustrated engineer who would have been one of those who passed this year's Chemical Engineering Board Exams had I chosen a different path! Stark realization had me in my third year in college, Accountancy  is really meant for me! Thanks to my Dad who patiently convinced me to take up Accountancy!

Personally, I really enjoyed the Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins. It's just spectacular and I can't believe the obsession I had with the series. I can't wait to see the movie next year to see if that lives up to the book. The movie is set to come out on March 23,2012.

For those who haven't read the book, the story centers on Katniss Everdeen from District 12 who must survive a horrible televised fight to the death game. Each year the evil Government of Panem ( post-apocalyptic North America) hosts an event called the Hunger Games  where two tributes - a boy and a girl from each of the twelve districts are forced  to fight in an arena of death. The hunger games are held to remind and ensure that no district makes an attempt at a rebellion.  But Katniss ends up as a symbol of defiance.

Back to the movie, I've gotta say the perfect people were chosen for the movie , to start with we have Jeniffer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen.

Who says Karaoke doesn't have its place in the WorldWideWeb? It's one of those things that you thought was a big joke until you realize the cold seriousness. Yes, we are talking about the online karaoke which takes the merry tradition of singing in the cyber realm. Why not? Well for me, it's a bit "awkward" ( not the right term to describe it), I prefer the old way, with the big sound box? I don't even know what to call it *laughs* Excuse my ignorance. Silly me. My sister argued "what difference would it make?" ughhh. I beg to disagree. This may be considered another triumph for those who shunned the world of karaoke just because they don't want their cracking voice be heard by passers by unless of course they'll record and share the song for everyone to see and hear. I am supposed to make a new blog entry today but I end up sleeping the whole afternoon after babysitting my brother bembee earlier today. I am really at my wit's end babysitting him. He played angry birds and buddy rush  all day long, and I couldn't convince him play in the backyard instead like what most of the kids in the neighborhood do. If there's anyone I know who can stand his eyes fixed on the computer screen all day it has to be him. It would take a miracle to stop him gaming so  I rested my case .

Finally, our sembreak has finally arrived after two weeks of battling nerve-wracking long quizzes and exams. Accounting has been hell crazy, it's a matter of life and death whether I pass or fail. I'm on my fifth year now, my final year in college,  and I tell you it's getting harder :( Dang, my grades are bad this sem, I feel bad and stupid about it. I could have done better. I regret those times when I succumbed to the temptations of procrastination. I blame myself for being so mediocre. I'm seriously drained. I promise my self to do good next sem, my last sem in college! haha. I want to be productive this sembreak. But first I need to unwind and just do the idle stuff, I guess I'll have to postpone my plans till next week. I've been rotting away in bed- either reading  or catching up on a sleep. I am finally free! Thank you professors for giving me the lowest grades :D and Congrats to AVANZA  our seniors for getting a 100% passing rate in  the CPA Board Exam!

Rocket Plug-It Smartbro offers arguably the fastest mobile internet access here in the Philippines. Hmmm. I'm planning to buy one at a one-time fee of  P3,995. Spending most of time in school without any internet access can be quite a hassle. Our school is not too generous to share with us students their internet access. Now, I found a viable solution for my dilemma.  Most usb modems out there  would take you years to browse the internet.  :( I believe this one has a decent speed. Sporting a 12-mbps speed - it's by far the fastest in mobile prepaid broadband in the Philippines. It's what Smart Philippines claims it to be, and I hope they will not disappoint me :D I can now browse the internet, check my Facebook and twitter account at lightning speeed, everywhere! 

After weeks of seemingly unending quizzes, I am finally back with a huge smile plastered on my face! haha. So happy  I got high scores in my quizzes. Never thought I could get high grades with those nerve-wracking exams. On top of that, I got the highest grade in our batch. If you really believe in yourself, nothing is impossible. Everything's within your reach! Too much for the bragging! 

Got our canon iP2770 printer converted to CISS today.  Finally my mom bought the idea of converting our printer to CISS.  Sorry Canon :( It's better this way. The ink is way cheaper than the genuine one, plus the ink lasts long too. It took only 1 hour to convert the printer to a CISS. Been printing handouts this last two hours! D So far,  I'm very impressed with the quality. Now, if you're still considering if you should convert to CISS or not, I suggest you do. It will save you a lot of money. Bigger savings means , more money to spend to other things 

After the series introduction of the protagonist way back in 2009, I quitted reading the series for one reason : the middle books slowed down as a lot of time was spent on exploring the world of the Cahills, the secret family that has ruled the word for centuries. Haha. I know that must have been a shallow answer. The true reason behind it is I don't have the leisure time to read books anymore in college except my accounting books. I couldn't even remember where I had left off in the 39 clues. But now that I am finally graduating, I found the urge for me to read books again. That's why I am planning to buy a kindle. Back to the story, a friend of mine told me that nothing in the past eight books can match the surprises in the penultimate volume " The 39 Clues Book 9 : Storm Warning " . The books answers many of the series biggest questions as well as it chronicles its biggest tragedies.  I guess the book is worth the wait. Oh my. I can't wait to read the series I had missed. :)

Hello everyone. It feels like I haven't blogged for ages. I've been very busy like a bee for the past three days preparing for my exam in Management Accounting ( which happens to be my hatest subject) and my report in Audit theory. That explains my panda eyes :D my undereye circles have gone so dark and i look so pale. I look so horrible today. No concealer can do the trick of hiding my panda eyes :(  But I I feel so loved despite that, and I am madly, insanely and ridiculously in love with someone! haha. Ever wondered why couples start to look alike the longer they stay together? That's because the longer the time, the more they mimic each other's facial expressions, lifestyle and habits.


To end this post, I would just like to share with everyone my new brother's pic taken few weeks ago. I am just surprised at how he has grown so big :D It seemed like it was just yesterday when I saw his tiny nose wondering how he could even breathe through it.
