TIPS FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS
There are too many possibilities to
take on in life. And we all know that we want to be successful on whatever life
has to offer us. It’s never too early to be serious about something like
getting into entrepreneurship. Today’s society teaches us that going into
business could be a very viable option for a brighter future.
1. Set Goals
If you are taking up a business-related
course, you might have heard these words from your loquacious professor a
million times already. Goals, goals! If you really want to succeed, you must be
a goal-setter. You must visualize how your business to grow and your future to
unfold. Business goals is one of the cornerstone of entrepreneurship.
2. Think big! Dream Big
Think the unthinkable. You must never
settle for the second best. Strive hard for excellence. Dream big; always
maintain a positive and entrepreneurial mindset. Search for that one big idea
and pursue it passion.
3.
Be innovative
Be
dexter’s brother for real. Creativity and ingenuity are indispensable traits of
an entrepreneur. You must have the talent and the imagination.
4.
Take Calculated Risk
In
everything we do there’s risk, and while you can’t get away from it, try to
minimize it through careful planning.
5.
Be strategic
Strategic
planning is essential in business; therefore, you must develop the best plan to
market your product. One must constantly gain for valuable insights on
entrepreneurial prospects.
6.
Maximize Opportunities
You
must always be open to new possibilities. Take all opportunities that will come
your way.
7.
Work hard
Starting
and having a business entails hard work. You must be willing to always spend
most of your time in managing your business. With hard work, you will witness
your entrepreneurial dreams become realities.
8.
Be persistent
Take
failures as challenges for you to succeed. You should keep going even when
things aren’t going well. The more we move forward, the move we’ll be inclined to
success.
9.
Enjoy
You
must love what you are doing. Enjoyment means satisfaction, and satisfaction
would later on drive success in life.

The Black Cat
Have I told you before that I love cats? I
have around three cats living with me, one of them, Cathy, has just died recently.
We used to call her Cathy all the time but my father would much prefer calling her Tres.
Cathy was such a chirpy and brave cat, neighborhood dogs fear her a lot. She rarely sleeps at daytime. You would likely
see her chasing small rodents all the time. Often times, you would see her
sitting on laps watching butterflies fluttering by. Her favorite past time was daydreaming. She shamelessly
exposes her belly for anyone-as if always asking for a free belly rub.My friends
despise her for her color (black cats are bad luck) but I don’t see her that
way. She has never been a bad luck, she even struts around like a celebrity
cat. After her harrowing experience of being run over by a car, I couldn’t
bring myself to have another pet cat.

Mark of Sarcasm
In today's fast-paced lifestyle that is hinged on constant communication, it's still a wonder that information still manages to get lost in its interpretation. A series of text messages, facebook messages, tweets, e-mails and chats are the bare minimum in getting your message across. Often times, we want to send e-mails or private messages with a touch of sarcasm but then again our sarcasm might be interpreted by the recipient. SarcMark comes with a solution. You might find it odd though, the punctuation (as shown on the left) has been developed and trademarked by a US Company. This mark of sarcasm is now selling for mobiles and computers for around $2. Got something sarcastic to say? Send it with a punctuation to match.

Feng Shui Tips
I’ve always
wanted to do better in school. From eating nuts while studying to munching
chocolate bars during exams just to have good results. But the best way to top my exams is by studying my lessons well. So to help myself shine in class, I followed this
Feng Shui tips that might work their magic:
1. The
direction of wisdom and learning is in the northeast. Feng Shui says that it’s
best if you locate your room in the Northeast.
2. The desk
should be placed/positioned in a way that you can see the door and wide space
in front of you. Avoid having yourself face a wall when studying because the
wall represents a barrier or obstacle.
3. It’s better
to arrange the furniture 3 to 5 feet away from your body so that computer
monitors, stereos and other electronic devices won’t expose harsh
electromagnetic frequencies energies to you.
4. Good energy
naturally flows through rooms, but when it encounters clutter, it gets
“stuck”. Stuck energy results to lack of
motivation. To avoid this, you should de-clutter the room.
5. I’ve always
been a couch potato since birth. Watching TV the whole day during holidays has
been my way of relaxation from stress. If you see yourself in me, then I guess
you really have to remove the TV from your room. Not only will it distract you
from your studies, its harmful frequencies or radiation also affect you by
making you feel less focused.
6. Who would
have thought that shells and fish are positive symbols in Feng Shui. Shells and
fish symbolize learning while Con shells and Koi (gold fish) are excellent
symbols of educational success. Time for you to move the aquarium to your study
room, or hang a picture of koi or shells
in the Northern corner of the room.
7. Feng Shui
treats the South as the recognition area. So place an achievement area on the
southern wall of the room.

I had terrible days this week that's why I wasn't able to post a single article for over a week now. I had to study and coil myself up on my accounting subjects for three sleepless nights. Poor me. However, during those nights I occasionally surf the net, and luckily found contests that interests me. One of those contests, is the Goldilocks contest that will giveaway a Neo Vivid Black Notebook for the lucky winner. The contest is very simple, you just have to submit a photo completing the phrase "Pinoy ka kung...." and include your favorite Goldilocks signature dishes. For more details of the game, just click the link .
* The contest is open to Philippine residents only.

Vote for a cause & get a chance to win an iPad!!
With the surging popularity of the iPad (the iPad fever), loads of win-an-iPad contests are likewise spreading online. However, I have only managed myself to join one :). I actually found the the site on the facebook ad section while playing Restaurant City. What makes it totally different from the Win-an-iPad contests I have encountered is that it’s for a cause. By just extending yourself and helping others, you can make a difference. The site doesn’t require you anything to donate, you just have to register and vote for the cause you will support, and you’re done. The site intends to raise P100,000 which will be given to the cause that gets most of the votes. The featured causes:
- Educational Scolarship
- Environment Protection
- Humanitarian Services
- Food Sufficiency Program
- Fight the effects of climate change
Just log on to this link to register and vote.I hope that you too would vote for a cause, and who knows you might be that lucky one to win a brand new iPad. Have to sleep early, my little kittens are runnin over my bed. :)

The iPad Contenders
Hopefully, you’ve all heard of the the Eee Pad and the Eee tablet by Asus, a nametag one can’t take lightly. Just after the Apple folks have released their iPad, many computer companies made their own too. Asus recently unveiled their mimicked tablets before the media at Computex Taipei, the largest ICT exhibition in Asia. Like the iPad, the Eee Pad and Eee tablet boasts multimedia features that would pull users in. Loaded with lots of immersive application, these two strikes much the same effect as the Ipad. But what gives Eee Pad an edge from Apple’s is that it is equipped with a powerful Intel Intel Core 2 Duo CULV processor andNVIDIA Tegra Graphics chip; it actually runs on Windows operating systems. The Eee Pad comes with a 12-inch screen and weighs about 675-grams.On the other hand, the Eee tablet is more of an e-reader, a hybrid of notepad, e-reader and media player.I wouldn’t say the two outshines the iPad but in some other respect it does. Asus indeed does a marvelous job!

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner- An Eclipse Novella
I’m quite sure that most of you, like me, have never missed a Twilight Series book, or the movies atleast. If you have enjoyed reading or watching the Twilight series on the big screen like I do then The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner is a companion novella you shouldn’t miss. Authored by Stephanie Meyer, the book revolves on Bree Tanner, who is featured in the third book of the series, Eclipse. It was actually written from the viewpoint of Bree Tanner, a 15year-old human-turned-vampire. The story was supposed to be a complement to Eclipse (for it reveals the things Bella never knew about) but because the story was too long to be included in the upcoming The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide, the author decided to make it a separate book on its own. The book was released in stores last June 5, 2010. Wee! it's time for me to grab my copy.

SIMPLE FACTS
Apologies in advance to all die-hard fans of blackberry and confirmed haters of iPhone who would try to press the playbutton of this youtube video. You’re not simply going to like it. The video is perfectly short and superbly made. It really got me. I had fan watching it despite the fact that the video ran for about 10 seconds or so. Heads up to the maker of this video for his wits, it ends up the much debated issue on which of the two phones is better. “Simple facts” is the only word I can say. I wish Blackberry had chosen pumpkin instead for its brandname:D
